DRALOD is a disruptive and replicable drying process 100% environmentally friendly

DRALOD uses renewables only, to allow valorisation of plant-origin waste into highly valuable functional ingredients as demanded by the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industry.

DRALOD is extremely cost-effective

DRALOD drying plant has a pay-back period shorter than 6 years for an average plant with 35,000 tonnes/year capacity.

DBFZ leads the development of a smart system controller for the combined solar biomass drying plant.

The kick-off meeting for DRALOD project has taken place on the 5th and 6th of September 2018, in Guadalajara (Spain). The project partners have met at L. Pernía´s facilities for a two days working session.

On the 16th of January, DRALOD Consortium has held the second project meeting. In this occasion, the project team met at Ökotherm´s facilities located in the Bavarian town of Hirschau in the Oberpfalz region of Germany.
